Harrison Township seeks to fill vacant seats on volunteer boards
The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) is a five-member volunteer board empowered to rule on special zoning issues such as variances, conditional uses and decide on administrative appeals. The BZA meets on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
The Zoning Commission (ZC) is a five-member volunteer board empowered to make recommendations to the Board of Trustees on changes in zoning districts or boundaries, reclassifications of property, and amendments to the Zoning Resolution. The ZC meets on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
Both boards are appointed by the Harrison Township Board of Trustees and meet at the Harrison Township Government Center, 5945 N. Dixie Drive. Qualified candidates must reside in Harrison Township
Residents interested in applying for either vacant seat should submit a letter of interest and resume to Shonda Hill at shill@harrisontownship.org
