Board of Trustees

Serving Our Community

Harrison Township is governed by a three-member Board of Trustees, elected at large to serve four-year terms. The trustees act as the legislative body of the township, setting policy and guiding the community’s direction. A Fiscal Officer is also elected to a four-year term to maintain the township’s records, including board proceedings and financial accounts. Day-to-day operations are overseen by an appointed Township Administrator, who ensures that services run efficiently and effectively.

It’s A New Day In Harrison Township

From Township Administrator Shannon Meadows

Harrison Township is entering a new era—one rooted in progress, resilience, and a deep commitment to our people. Since stepping into my role as Township Administrator, I’ve seen firsthand the strength of our residents and the determination to build a stronger future together.

This community has faced its share of challenges, but what stands out is our collective resolve. Today, we’re setting our sights higher. We’re investing in clean, safe neighborhoods. We’re improving roads, expanding access to parks, supporting local businesses, and ensuring public safety remains a top priority.

Our goal is to provide exceptional services through a professional and responsive local government—one that listens to your concerns and plans for the future. That means sound financial management, forward-thinking development, and strong partnerships with those who call Harrison Township home.

“It’s a new day” is more than a headline—it’s a mindset. It reflects our belief that positive change is possible and happening now. Whether you live in Northridge, Shiloh, or Ft. McKinley, we want you to feel proud of where you live and confident in where we’re headed.

As a team, we are committed to transparency, collaboration, and excellence in everything we do. But we can’t do it without you. Your voice matters. Your involvement strengthens our community.
