Art Wrap Program
Bringing public art to everyday spaces in Harrison Township
Harrison Township is turning ordinary traffic signal boxes into colorful public art through a new community beautification effort designed to add creativity, pride, and local identity to visible spaces across the township.
The program begins along the North Main Street corridor, where selected traffic signal boxes will be wrapped in artwork created by students in Meadowdale High School’s Digital Design program. These designs will help transform utility infrastructure into something that reflects the character, energy, and natural beauty of our community.
This initiative is intended to grow over time. While the first phase focuses on boxes along Main Street, the program is designed to support future art wraps in other locations throughout Harrison Township as opportunities become available.

About the project
Traffic signal boxes—those metal cabinets at intersections—are being wrapped with original artwork to enhance our corridors and reflect the character of Harrison Township.
This program is designed to:
- brighten key intersections
- showcase local creativity
- strengthen community identity
- create a more welcoming environment
While the first phase focuses on Main Street, the program is built to expand to additional locations across the township.

Main Street + Meadowdale Partnership
The first phase of the program features traffic signal boxes along Main Street, one of Harrison Township’s most visible corridors.
Artwork is being created by students in Meadowdale High School’s Digital Design program, giving young artists the opportunity to contribute to a real-world public project.
Design themes include:
- nature and wildlife
- the Stillwater River
- floral elements
- community pride
Each wrap is selected to ensure strong visual impact and a positive reflection of the township.

Explore the Artwork
Use the interactive map to view each wrapped traffic signal box, see its location, and explore the artwork created for that site.
As new wraps are added, this map will continue to grow with the program.
